Ukulele Interest Group 乌克丽丽活动小组

Ukulele, known as a small guitar or banjo with four strings, is an instrument easy to bring around. In recent years, this small instrument has been gaining popularity rapidly. Join us to learn how to play and perform some simple songs with the ukulele.

Please bring along your own ukulele.

Profile 简介

Agnes Ang is a full-time teacher in MOE. She has been teaching for 15 years. Currently, she is the Subject Head of Music and Performing Arts at Endeavour Primary School. She was previously in charge of the Music Club in Woodlands Primary School.  She has a Grade 6 certificate in Piano (Practical) & Grade 5 (Music Theory) certificate from ABRSM. She also has a Grade 4 certificate in Erhu (Practical) from NUS Centre for the Arts (CFA). She is currently learning to play the Guitar. She had conducted short ukulele sessions for Primary School Teachers and for pupils at the Buddhist Library. She is a Teaching Assistant at the Buddhist Library’s Bodhi Kids Class.
