24 & 25 May 2012 (Thur & Fri) :: 7 Tips for a Happy Life

The decisions and habits we make when we are young will influence us for the rest of our life. Ven Chodron will guide us to consider the consequences of our actions, and introduce seven practices that we can develop now to bring happiness and meaning into our life.

26 May 2012 (Sat) 2.00pm – 4.00pm :: Transition! Time to Blossom!

Every major change in life brings a beautiful opportunity. However, transitions evoke feelings of anxiety, worry, and fear which often prevent us from stepping into the unknown. Ven Chodron will share the Buddha’s wisdom on the inevitability of change and teach us how to embrace transitions as a chance to bloom and grow.

Project 11, a unique and meaningful campaign that helps create a better life for our physically challenged friends. Due to overwhelming response from the public, we will continue this meaningful campaign. This campaign calls for a simple act – collect ring tabs from drink and food cans. These ring tabs will be recycled into materials for making components of prosthetic limbs to benefit the disabled who are in need.

Our target is to collect as many ring tabs as possible (Every 5 tons of ring tabs, estimated to be 15 million pieces of ring tabs), we are able to produce 10,000 prosthetic legs for the disabled!
